Position Overview:
As a Cake and Cookie Decorator, you will be responsible for adding the finishing touches to cakes and cookies, transforming them into visually stunning and delicious treats. Your creativity, attention to detail, and artistic flair will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall appeal of our bakery products.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Decorating Cakes and Cookies: Utilize various decorating techniques such as piping, fondant sculpting, airbrushing, and icing to adorn cakes and cookies according to established designs or custom requests.

2. Design Development: Collaborate with the bakery team and customers to conceptualize and develop unique designs for cakes and cookies based on occasions, themes, or preferences.

3. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and consistency of decorations by adhering to standard operating procedures and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

4. Ingredient Preparation: Prepare and handle frosting, fondant, edible paints, and other decorative materials, ensuring freshness and proper storage.

5. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain decorating tools, equipment, and work areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards.

6. Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, discussing decoration options, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or special requests.

7. Time Management: Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines for both routine orders and special projects, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and complexity.

8. Creative Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends, techniques, and designs in cake and cookie decoration, continuously refining skills and exploring new creative possibilities.

Qualifications:
1. Experience: Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field is preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in various decorating techniques.

2. Creativity: Strong artistic abilities and a passion for creating visually appealing designs using edible mediums.

3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and precision to ensure the accuracy and quality of decorations.

4. Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

5. Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and interact with customers professionally.

6. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate fluctuating business demands.
