We provide comprehensive planning, design, project management, material, equipment, and labour for the delivery of Industrial Coatings, Fireproofing and Sandblast services on client sites and in our progressive 25,000 square foot coatings shop. Our Industrial Coatings Division is a key contributor to the overall business which also provides industry with Access Scaffolding, Insulation & Abatement, Rope Access, Digital 3D Planning Services, as well as a host of construction products for sale or rent including swing-stage, shoring, forming, safety fence and more.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates
- Gather all information for the project team for the development of Proposal bid package
- Monitor the deadlines of the Bid and identify and resolve areas where the deadline may be breached
- Examine construction drawings and specifications for information relevant to estimates
- Perform material quantity and labor takeoffs from blueprints and piping ISO’s
- Work with project teams in developing execution plans, etc.
- Prepare in MS Excel and submit attractive, accurate, and competitive bid packages with pricing options and suggested value engineering possibilities
- Ensure efficiency and quality of the project, ensuring all work is completed according to schedule as well as meeting Skyway and client safety requirements

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of industry experience in various rolls (Estimating, Project Coordination & Field/Shop Supervision)
- A related post-secondary degree or diploma, CET, RET, P. Eng. or trade qualification with commensurate experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications in regards to coatings and project execution
- Firm understanding on all Quality Control requirements
- Highly organized, efficient and prepared
- Excellent time management, problem solving, communication and people skills
- A solid understanding of Industrial Coatings and construction safety techniques
- Strong planning, scheduling and leadership skills
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Can do attitude with a solution based approach
- Able to manage one’s own time and the time of others

Work Conditions:

- 40 hour work week
- Travel may be required for pre-bid site visits, etc.
