- Full Time**Position Overview**:
As a Contract Manager for Calian Advanced Technologies, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled, and that all fiscal and customer satisfaction targets are met on your assigned contracts. This will be a primarily outward facing role, and you will have ownership over the successful achievement of all contract metrics.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee workforce and customer satisfaction, ensuring that value is added by Calian in the conduct of the work, and that the employees are meeting the requirements of the contract
- Maintain and improve gross margin against determined targets at contract award time
- Oversee contract compliance
- Contract Retention (renewal)
- Spearhead contract growth, and seek additional/increased business where possible with existing and prospective contracts
- Provide proposal support for contract renewals
- Review proposals and attend pricing meetings for prospective contracts
- Contribute to the Service Line team
- Collaborate cross functionally with internal stakeholders (finance, contract administration, paroll, etc.) to ensure contracts are facilitated effectively
- Contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budget

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a Technical or Business field, or commensurate military or engineering experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant project or contract management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Solid understanding of government and/or military contracts, policies and practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to correspond professionally and build relationships easily with internal and external customers
- Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
- Demonstrates exceptional organization skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations

**Additional Requirements**:

- This will be a hybrid role based in the Ottawa area
- This role will require you to obtain a government security clearance at the Secret level
