We Sheet Metal/Machine and Stamping Shop, located in Richmond, is looking to hire a **CAD Supervisor** for our Sheet Metal Shop with a minimum of 1 year experience. The CAD Supervisor will report to and work with the Sheet Metal Shop Manager.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- CAD background (Solid work/AutoCAD)
- Supervisory Skills
- Sheet Metal Experience

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Product quality through program quality
- Assign work and monitor the results of CAD department employees.
- Organize standards, checklists and procedures to ensure all department personnel work to a common regime.
- Monitor the quality of the CAD department through numbers of ECRs.
- Monitor and distribute work as shown on Foreman’s Report.
- Train and monitor the performance of new CAD personnel.
- Maintain computer software and hardware through regular procedures to ensure data integrity**.**:

- Implement procedure for tracking ECRs.
- Keep the Shop Manager informed daily of workload status.
- Ensure all documents and drawings are effectively and efficiently controlled.
- Stay on top of technology in manufacturing through various learning resources (suppliers, magazines, tradeshows, seminars, internet webinars and etc.)
- Responsible for following Quality Procedures, Safety Procedures and Lean Procedures
