**Position Summary**:
**The Manager, IT Infrastructure at Seapeak will be responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of the core infrastructure services, providing leadership across many technical disciplines.**
**This includes Network, Security, Cloud services, physical and virtual infrastructure, Microsoft Operating Systems, storage, virtualization, physical data rooms, backup solutions and operations, disaster recovery (DR), business continuation (BCP) hosting solutions, and management of vendors.**

**The role will involve directing a global group of highly motivated technical resources, ensuring that services are delivered within agreed-upon scope, standards, and client satisfaction which meets or exceeds operational excellence goals. Hands-on expertise working alongside the team members on a regular basis will be required. Global travel to regional office locations will be essential from time to time either to train and coach direct reports, or for maintenance purposes of Seapeak’s regional infrastructure services.***:
**Major Responsibilities**:

- Provide overall management (strategy, planning, coordination, execution, support) of information technology utilized across all areas of technical operations.
- Utilize extensive expertise, solution-oriented thinking, and service dedication to build and maintain the continuous commitment of IT to support the company.
- Manage all activities of internal/external resources within the group or service delivery area.
- Responsible for budget commitments and forecasting for the group or service delivery area.
- Design and implement cyber controls and IT infrastructure onboard vessels that covers both IT and OT.
- Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the Seapeak’s cybersecurity operating model, strategy, architecture, policy, procedures, and standards to protect Seapeak’s corporate IT and Operational technology (OT) assets on board vessels commensurate with industry threats and aligned to company objectives.
- Develop and champion standardized technical operations processes and provides global leadership in ensuring that those processes are followed. Technical processes include hardware and OS deployment processes, deployment documentation, KPIs, QAs.
- Perform risk assessments of new platforms and services for both IT and OT (Operational Technology). Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments of technology service providers during the selection process and ongoing as required.
- Global Backup operations. Ensure global backups are consistently configured, executed, and validated to defined standards and support recovery under all agreed failure scenarios. Maintain a documented global off-siting strategy.
- Manage dedicated technical operations staff including annual goal setting and evaluation.
- Deployment and management of Windows Operating systems including overseeing regular maintenance and patching.
- Oversee the standardization and management of Microsoft Active Directory including ensuring data quality standards, appropriate access rights and restrictions, reliable Cloud synchronization and authentication.
- Leads or directly participates in the operational deployment of standardized hosting environments including planning provisioning, maintenance, and support.
- Maintain and manage software licenses and annual renewals.
- Provides input to enhancements of global solutions in all areas as required, participates in global IT management group, including both the global management and technical on-call rotation.
- Participates and leads technical projects as required. Regularly acts as technical implementation lead on deployments of new technology.
- Collect and maintain operational documentation from all specialists technical areas to maintain a master operational support document.
- Responsible for hiring technical staff.
- Ensure preventative maintenance of hardware under scope.
- Provide 3rd and 4th level technical escalation support for:

- M365 Environment (Exchange, Teams, Security, Compliance, ATP, SharePoint, Yammer)
- Azure (Conditional Access, VM’s, Azure Security, MFA, Enterprise Applications and Registrations, Workbooks and KQL, ASR, PIM, and Storage
- AWS (S3)
- VMWare
- Veeam Suite
- On-Premises Infrastructure
- Acts as the Change Manager within the standard change management process, and ensures proper process is followed by the rest of IT.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Manage and maintain vendor/supplier relationships.
- Occasional travel to regional offices or vessels around the world
