SNC-Lavalin’s Major Projects division is in search of a **Document Controller** to join a transformative transit infrastructure project in Toronto. The Document Controller role will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision. The role will report to the Commercial Lead.
This role will be based in **Toronto, ON.**
**Your role within the team**:
- Develop and implement Document Control framework to ensure compliance with the Governance system framework.
- Ensuring Project documentation are received, tracked, and monitored according to system specifications.
- Provide ongoing support and training to Project team on document management.
- Undertake audits to ensure document management processes are well implemented and ensure data integrity.
- Identify and implement improvements as required.
- Onboard Project team and subcontractor to document management system.

- 5 - 7 years of document management experience and education in a related field.
- Experience in all areas of document management including issue, creation, retrieval, retention, and turnover.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and Document Management System - Aconex would be an asset.
- Good understanding of Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities with respect to document management would be an asset.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work in fast paced, high change environment.
- Ability to work from home, from office, or remotely on project sites that require on-site presence.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
