**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND SUMMARY**:
The Document Controller will work under the supervision of the Senior Director, Projects. This position provides document management including archiving services to the Projects department. This role will establish and support best practices in standards and procedures for document and drawings file numbering and document control.

**MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Providing suppliers / consultants with the Centerra Gold standards and documentation.
- Filing and archiving documentation received from suppliers / consultants and sites.
- Collect, scan and upload documents following set procedures
- Control all documentation, both internal and external related to the assigned projects
- Ensure documentation conforms to document management numbering system.
- Process and distribute documents internally and to our external partners (suppliers & consultants)
- Assist in supporting internal/external audits, coordinating activities, and ensuring timely response to documentation requests
- Investigate and responds to corrective actions related to Document Control Standards
- Maintain quality records as per Centerra’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings and blueprints, are collected and registered in the system for easy tracking and reference.
- Track documents and Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them
- Print and distribute documents as necessary
- Work with documents and records across various disciplines and areas, including mining, processing, projects, and construction
- Implement and Support as primary end user, communication/documentation system Aconex or other document management system.
- Implement system improvements to ensure effective and efficient management of project and discipline data.

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- Ability in using various software such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability in using AutoCAD or other CAD software is an asset.
- Knowledge of Aconex or other document management systems is an asset
- Strong ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure all documentation is processed in a timely manner
- Good written communication skills including document creation, preparation, editing and overall management skills
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, showing initiative and creativity
- Basic understanding of engineering and construction documents
- Experience working with many different document types

**EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION**:

- College or university degree in records and information management or relevant experience
- A minimum of 5 years of construction / mining experience or a combination of both education and experience sufficient to perform these duties. Previous document control experience is an asset
- Thorough knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe software
