**Position**

The Program Coordinator position will provide support to various areas within Human Resources, Health, Safety and Environment (HRHSE). The position requires a high degree of collaboration and independence within clearly defined objectives. In all facets of this role, this position endeavors to integrate and advance the University’s commitment to service excellence, equity, diversity and inclusivity. The incumbent will be seen as an ambassador for Human Resources, Health, Safety and Environment and will demonstrate our values of Trust, Accountability, Relationship Building and Safety.

**Duties**

The HRHSE Program Coordinator is responsible for the following:
Project Support and Data Analysis:

- Provide support to HR teams with various projects, processes and initiatives
- Research, gather information, monitor project timelines, prepare background information, seek out information from internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze data by gathering information, developing metrics and preparing reports.
- Creates and maintains spreadsheets and/or databases to track program and project initiatives.
- Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports for the area, including customized reports.
- Contributes to unit reporting by creating reporting tools: multiple charts/spreadsheets/documents that reflect initiatives and provide statistical analysis in support of initiatives of the unit.
- Conducting surveys, interviews and other research related activities to assist in development of HR policies, compensation analysis, and other labour negotiations.

Program Support:

- Provide support to the Job Evaluation and Compensation team in job matching and internal and external compensation review.
- Lead the coordination of Freedom of Information and Privacy (FOIP) requests on behalf of HRHSE.
- Perform research and analysis in support of labour relations, collective bargaining and program implementation.
- Provide support to the bargaining committee by conducting research, consolidating information, and preparing drafts of proposals.
