**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
**Duties**
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
- Operate ultrasound equipment effectively to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet established standards before presenting them to the physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed and any relevant observations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss findings and contribute to patient care planning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
**Skills**
- Proficient in medical terminology related to sonography and imaging procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify abnormalities in ultrasound images.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining procedures clearly to patients and collaborating effectively with medical staff.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $29.28 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:
- Echo Tech: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- ARDMS (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
