At Sunrise, our Housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for residents, families and team members while meeting and exceeding Sunrise quality service standards.

**Responsibilities**:
**COVID Sanitation House Keeper - Temporary Full Time (Benefit Eligible)**

**This position would end when the Provincial COVID Grant ends**

**Position 1 (Temp Full time)**

**Friday & Saturday 6:30am to 3pm**

**Sunday & Monday 1pm to 9:30pm**

**Position 2 (Temp Full Time)**

**Sunday to Thursday 1 pm to 9:30pm**

**Also Hiring for on call positions**

**Qualifications**:

- Desire to work with seniors
- Current WHIMIS
- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all community procedures and guidelines and having the ability to follow through on assigned tasks, and demonstrates initiatives
