We are looking for an experienced Robotics Technician to join our maintenance team. Those interested in this position should have experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment with Automation, PLC, and/or Robotics education.
**Shift Details**:

- Bi-Weekly Rotations, 12-Hour Continental Shifts
- Week 1: Work Monday/Tuesday, Off Wednesday/Thursday, Work Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Week 2: Off Monday/Tuesday, Work Wednesday/Thursday, Off Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- 2 Weeks Nights 6PM - 6AM; 2 Weeks Days 6AM - 6PM

**Pay Rate**: $44.56 per hour to start + shift premium (extra $2.00/hr night shift premium)

**Job Duties**:

- Primary responsibilities include providing technical support to operations; including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, parts identification and repair of equipment.
- Work with OEM support for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Perform routine corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance as needed on automation equipment
- Lead training for operators and other technicians on function and operation of equipment
- Developing operating standards and documentation
- Provide input on stock levels of spare parts as it relates to equipment
- Read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Aptitude with mechanical and electrical systems
- Periodic shift changes required for training, vacation coverage and special projects

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma in relevant field (Automation, Robotics, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of technician experience, preferably in the food industry
- Experience in troubleshooting, equipment repair, and hardware and software support of robotic and/or automation system
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley systems an asset
- Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required
- Flexibility to 12-hour rotational shifts as well as on weekends and holidays
- Comfortable with basic mechanical and electrical repairs on components
- Able to perform physical work; including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.
- Must be professional and use clear communication with technical and non-technical team members.
