**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Manager of Homes Programs is responsible for overall coordination and supervision of CVS Homes. The Manager of Homes Programs also supervises the Coordinators and monitors the home and works under the supervision of the Executive Director to ensure that individuals being supported in CVS residential services are receiving the specialized care they require and that staff are properly trained in PBS, Mandt, trauma-informed practice and augmentative communication. They ensure that each individual is supported in a respectful manner that meets their needs for safety, comfort, privacy and dignity and enhances their quality of life. The Manager works to encourage active positive participation of parents, siblings and friends in each of the individual's lives.

**JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- A strong commitment to quality and person-centered service for children and adults with developmental disabilities living in a specialized residential setting
- A demonstrated ability to work within a team setting, with an emphasis on leadership, self-initiative, patience, maturity and tact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, and Google Drive
- Knowledge of community resources, services and systems operating in the Community Living field
- A demonstrated ability to effectively case manage services to persons with developmental disabilities.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise with families and professionals
- A commitment to ensuring that the rights of our clients are protected; these rights shall include, but not be restricted to, matters of religious beliefs, privacy, finances, sexual orientation and political beliefs.
- A demonstrated ability to effectively monitor services and to identify, assess and mitigate risks in service delivery.
- A strong commitment to collaboration with stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- An undergraduate degree in social work, psychology or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education in human services and experience.
- Minimum three to five years experience working with people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities
- Previous supervisory experience
- Clean driving record
- Current Emergency First Aid certification
- Non-Violent Crisis intervention training
- CPIC Clearance
- Reliable car
- Ability to work flexible hours including evening/ weekend hours

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervises Assistant Managers/Coordinators.
- Meets with professionals and funders
- Coordinates the transition of individuals served to new residential sites
- Ensures service standards to persons served to reflect funding, organizational, and legal expectations.
- Ensures that Individual Support Plans (ISP) are developed, implemented, and evaluated in conjunction with the individual being supported, their family and advocates, professionals, and that ongoing documentation is maintained
- Promotes cooperation and communication between individuals being supported, families, advocates, volunteers, community agencies, vocational placements, and professional support staff.
- Ensures that individuals have a home life that is comfortable and safe, and that provides opportunities for both privacy and social interaction
- Ensures that individuals receive services that reflect their personal and cultural identities
- Ensures that relevant plans (e.g. health, safety ISP, behavioural, etc.) are properly created, documented and followed
- Advocates for people’s needs
- Performs other related duties as required

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
