Showroom Assistant

The Heating Source is a leading fireplace, stove, pool heater and barbeque retailer, providing gas and wood burning options to suit both modern and traditional aesthetics. Located in Alliston, Ontario, The Heating Source provides skilled installation and maintenance services for the communities of Simcoe and Dufferin County and beyond. A family-owned and operated business, The Heating Source was founded in 2008 and we are proud to be celebrating 15 years of service in 2023.

We are looking for a customer-oriented showroom assistant to join our family-owned business.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, answer questions and direct inquiries as appropriate.
- Book installations and service calls through booking software.
- Issue customer invoices as needed and take and record customer payments.
- Assist the showroom manager in organizing parts and store merchandise.
- Stock, organize and order brochures and marketing material as required.
- Organize and order office supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming customer environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive working environment.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma, or equivalent education, with 1 to 2 years of experience working in an office/reception environment preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to learn new booking software programs quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude a must.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
