DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee and assist the Station Manager or Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of the YOW station.
- Track sick calls and manage the schedule whenever needed.
- Be the on-site assistant for payroll operations and assisting with the collection of information for MVT reports and de-icing as well as baggage claim forms and general invoices, under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
- Monitor performance reviews and ensure they are being completed by the appropriate people and provide assistance with disciplinary matters as directed by the P&C or Station Manager at YOW airport.
- Implement and enforce security measures in compliance with airport regulations.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed, and emergency procedures are well-understood by staff.
- Take care of ordering stationaries and other required materials for the station.
- Stay informed about aviation regulations and ensure the station's compliance with local and international standards.
- Support managers and/or owner/operators as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of one year experience working as an Admin or an Admin Assistant.
- Three to five years or equivalent previous airline, hospitality experience is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of aviation and its related terms, short forms, and
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, Google Suite, and general computer skills.
- Excellent keyboarding skills are
- Must be able to take directions from supervisors, managers and work in a fast paced environment.
- Must have excellent in-person communication skills, interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working Monday to Friday.
