Call in or scheduled to cover educator absences/vacations (hours vary)
- Ensure positive interactions and behaviour guidance for children that encourages self-regulation and healthy self-esteem
- Ensure the safety of the children and their environment
- To work and speak effectively and professionally with parents, families, and team members
- Effective interpersonal skills under all types of conditions, exhibiting a supportive and positive approach
- Contribute to the ongoing operations of the centre ensuring centre policies and Ministry standards are followed and maintained

**Please note $2 per hour included in the wage is provided by a Government Wage Enhancement Grant**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Komoka, ON N0L 1R0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid CPR-Level C (required)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (preferred)
