Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Operating machinery Profile Wrapping line.
- Doing quality control checks on finished product
- Trouble shoot production problems.
- Ability to multi-task at the direction of Profile Wrapping Supervisor and cover all line responsibilities.
- Work with Profile Wrapping Supervisor and Engineering team to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity of the new line.
- Reporting machine breakdowns and filling out requisitions for maintenance when the supervisor is away.
- Performing basic Preventative Maintenance and Cleaning to optimize new equipment.
- Working with Profile Wrapping Supervisor and Engineering team to maximize efficiency, quality and productivity of new line.
- Prioritization of daily production goals and raw materials
- Performing various line duties as required to increase output.
- Covering for B shift staffs when they are on vacation.
**Primary Qualifications Required**:
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to learn to operate new machines & build new product; attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Extremely flexible with excellent attendance and work record
