Pattern Maker

Avro Pattern Inc is looking to fill a current roll on our team for a pattern maker / tool maker who has the following skills:

- Build and repair projects from CAD models, as well as post production parts that require reverse engineering
- Set up and operate manual machines for fabrication of projects and parts
- Work to and maintain extremely close tolerances using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments, make decisions as to clearances and mechanism details
- Participate in and work with a production team environment
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/facilitator
- Determine necessary tools and material requirements for specific projects

**Qualifications Required**:

- General machinist knowledge
- Proficient in reading and understanding CAD models to be able to work from design drawings
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities high degree of mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience with materials including fiberglass, steel, aluminum urethane, and epoxies
- Moderate hand dexterity is required for this position as well as the ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Welding experience would be an asset
- Available to work overtime and weekends as required

**Salary**: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
