As we continue to expand our presence in the market, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tunneling Manager to join our team.

JOB OVERVIEW:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the tunneling or
- construction industry, with a focus on ground support and structural steel products.
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing French
- Experience supervising multicultural teams preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong technical knowledge of ground support systems, including rock bolts, liner plate, shotcrete, mesh, and structural steel products.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, building client relationships, and closing deals.
- Exercise strong organizational skills, have the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and budget.
- A team leader and a sound decision maker.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Canada to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

JOB DUTIES:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the Canadian tunneling industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, engineering firms, contractors, and industry associations.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the sales process, including product selection, specification development, and project planning.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products and exceptional customer service.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and technical presentations to clients and industry stakeholders.
- Track sales performance, analyze market data, and generate regular reports to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and enhance our brand visibility.
- Uphold the company's commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in all interactions and activities.
- Support French speaking international contracts.

The role will require the collection and presentation of project pursuits, forecasts, bids, RFQ’s to the JENNMAR Civil Manager. Decisions and approvals pertaining to bidding and pricing for these projects will be deliberated and finalized in collaboration with the Civil Manager.
