**Job Summary**:
As an Equipment Specialist for our Equipment and Systems Validation team at our Laval site, you will need to be experienced in your field and be a reference in the technical sector, performing basic tasks and specialized tasks with mínimal or no supervision and share knowledge through practice.

In this role, primary **responsibilities** include:

- Competent in the verification, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
- Handles requests for equipment or supplies for studies with mínimal supervision
- Maintain equipments inventory and calibration list up to date.
- Participates in instrument software validations in a supporting rôle for technical expertise or workflow improvement.
- Assists in the training of technical staff.
- Ensures that system maintenance, repair, archival of equipment data are performed in compliance with SOP’s, safety procedures and biosafety protocols, and GLP regulations.

**Key Elements**:
We are looking for the following minimum **qualifications **for this role:

- High school diploma
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered an acceptable substitute for education and specific experience as listed above.
- Reading English is required, bilingualism is preferred.
- Be autonomous and able to make the right decisions.
- The employee must regularly move objects weighing up to ~ 20kg.
