Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Supervisor on a permanent basis in our Finance team. Are you a master of numbers with the ability to effectively interpret them and empower stakeholders? We’re seeking an Accounting Supervisor who will ensure the team provides accurate and timely reports to the Energy division to enable informed business decisions. **What you’ll do**:

- Provide leadership to the Energy accounting team, creating an engaging and encouraging work environment and identify pathways for growth. Developing performance management plans for team members that align with individual and corporate strategic priorities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reports are available for our various Energy business partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Energy team to assist with business planning and budgeting, assessing key performance metrics, and providing monthly, quarterly and annual results.
- Oversee the year end external audit process for the Energy team including ongoing review and evaluation of systems, controls and procedures, and integrity of financial results.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of future-focused initiatives and processes for evolving operations, regulations, and standards.

Who you’ll work with:
**The Team**:You will work closely with the Manager of Financial Accounting and have five direct reports. This team strives to cultivate a culture of support and collaboration.

**The Collaborators**:You will work closely with other functions in our Finance business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as the Energy Department, CRC, and local Co-ops.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

- Have a Bachelor of Commerce/Business Degree with Major Accounting
- Have 5-8 years of accounting experience including 3+ years of supervisory experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a Professional Accounting designation (CPA).
