Acquired in 2018 by Tidan, this hotel is located in the heart of the Montreal metropolis. The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible by an underground route, adjacent to the Bell Centre and also by 1000 de la Gauchetière. This iconic and emblematic hotel in Montreal was completely renovated in 2021, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms and can accommodate up to 1000 customers. Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Server is responsible for serving banquet events. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of these special events.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Set up the banquet room according to the established contract;
- Prepare the work stations, as well as all necessary equipment for service;
- Set the place settings according to the selected menu;
- Welcome guests with diligence and courtesy;
- Provide information about the menu;
- Serve meals, drinks, and wine, paying particular attention to pace, etiquette, and established standards;
- Ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages;Clear tables;
- Maintain a clean work environment, maintain equipment, and comply with hygiene and sanitation standards;
- Perform any other task aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

**Required skills**:

- High School Diploma (D.E.S.)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of menus and wines as well as table service techniques
- Proven sense of customer service
- Team spirit
- Appropriate knowledge of the English language
- Availability to work on shifts (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

**Languages**:Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.
