_**Position Overview**_

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will serve as an important part of the GBCSC team and support its programs, services, fundraising efforts and events through the creation of meaningful social media and other online marketing content. This role will also be central to connecting members of the GBCSC to local events and activities through digital content creation and connecting the community to our centre. This role offers flexibility structuring the workday as needed to achieve the required outcomes.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Work with the Executive Director to develop and oversee the GBCSC’s digital marketing strategy.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify upcoming digital communications needs and facilitate accordingly the completion of content creation and rollout.
- Build and manage social media calendar and content archives.
- Ensure that the GBCSC’s voice, tone, and style are consistently and appropriately reflected in all digital communication.
- Regularly report on all relevant metrics related to ongoing social campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.
- Support GBCSC programs, fundraising initiatives, and other operational needs by actively seeking opportunities for enhancement via digital marketing tools.
- Lead the development and launch of all digital communications on behalf of the GBCSC.
- **Qualifications**:_
- 1-2 yeas of professional experience managing multiple social media accounts
- Completion of degree or diploma program in an area related to digital marketing communications
- Ability to legally work in Canada
- Access to reliable transportation for regular off-site work.
- Access to smartphone with properly functioning camera.
- **Relevant Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes**_
- Proficient in the use of multiple social and digital media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Basic graphic design, photography, and video editing expertise
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Skilled in delivery of presentations, both live and through virtual platforms
- Exceptional customer and client services skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and to delegate responsibilities as needed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Penetanguishene, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Digital design: 1 year (preferred)
- Social media management: 1 year (preferred)
