Looking for a new challenge as an Accounting Professional? Do you enjoy problem-solving and providing excellent client service?
Our Finance & Accounting team is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join them in a full-time permanent position in any of our Atlantic Canadian offices. As part of the Finance & Accounting team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial and non-financial monthly reporting including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, and profitability reporting.
**As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for**:
Assisting with the month-end process including preparation of journal entries;
Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements and related reporting;
Completion of the accounting for the affiliated consulting company;
Completion of various reconciliations including banks and the month-end close binder;
Assisting with the annual external audit; and,
Assisting with all other audits including the law societies.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related education;
Three (3) years of related experience, in accounting and/or finance;
Exceptional technology skills, with proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and a genuine interest in keeping up to date with the newest technology;
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail; and,
Exceptional communication skills, a special focus on client service with the highest degree of professionalism.
