A **Labour at Lopes’ Industrial Painting department** is responsible for supporting the painting and paint shop team.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Cleaning and organizing paint & sandblast area.
- Prepare material for painting & sandblasting.
- Maintenance around shop and yard.
- Heavy lifting and operating the forklift.
- Assist painter and sandblaster for operation of respected booth.
- Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- 1+ year industrial labour experience required.
- Past experience working in a paint shop.
- Hands-on inclined.
- Ability to work productively independently and in a team environment.
- Flexible, self-motivated and driven to achieve deadlines.
- Ability to work varied shift schedules.
- A clean Health and Safety record.
- Ability to communicate and read in English.
- Attention to detail.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move frequently, stand up and walk for extended period of time and sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
