The Front Desk/Receptionist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the front desk and reception area, along with providing excellent customer service to all visitors, clients, and employees.

Duties will include:
Greeting and directing visitors: As you are the first point of contact for all visitors, clients and employees you will be responsible for greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner and directing them to the appropriate person or department.

Answering and directing phone calls: answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate person or department.

Managing the reception area: ensuring that the reception area is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

Handling incoming and outgoing mail: handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

Scheduling appointments: scheduling appointments for clients and employees and coordinate the availability and related bookings of counselling rooms

Providing administrative support: providing administrative support to other departments such as filing, faxing and processing payments using a debit /credit machine. Troubleshoot any equipment or connection issues for the office.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and able to multitask effectively. You will need to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

You should also be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, experience working within the insurance / legal industry will be considered an asset.
