**What you’ll do**:
- Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
- Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency
- Participate in the development and implementation of business plans that include growth targets and profitability, as well as develop and implement merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and mínimal loss
- Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and feedback
- Ensure company polices, best practices, training course and certifications are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage and grow current customer base, through implementing new programs, and overall customer experience
- Lead a culture of safety through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement

**Who you’ll work with**:
The Team: Reporting to the 2nd Avenue Wine, Spirits and Beer Team Leader you will be a key participant in executing plans and policies to ensure the continued growth in sales, service, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the WSB teams to cultivate a culture of collaboration, connectedness, customer focus, and trust.
**The Community**:Lake Country Co-op is in one of the best areas for hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences in Western Canada. It’s a short drive to Prince Albert National Park that has over 1,500 lakes to visit and countless activities and events to choose from The city of Prince Albert has several parks and recreational activities as well. From Little Red River Park, to The Mann Art Gallery, Alfred Jenkins Field House, and EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts, there is fun-filled activities for the entire family. No matter the season, there is endless adventure possibilities within an hour’s drive, making Prince Albert like no other place in Canada.
**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in management in a retail environment, including supervisory experience
- Retail experience in the areas of member relations, selling, OHS, ordering, receiving, and asset maintenance and management
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, priorities, and execution skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management
- Flexible work schedule evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary
- Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including extensive manual labour
- Experience in the liquor industry retail sales especially in the CRS will be considered an asset
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
- You are organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- Must be 19 years of age
- Serve it Right certificate considered an asset however training will be provided to the chosen applicant
- Sommelier experience or training would be considered an asset
