Headquartered in Montreal, with factories in Melbourne, Australia; Plattsburgh, NY; China; Germany; and Montreal, Smardt’s high efficiency machines are driving rapid growth across several key world markets. Our Head office, Tica-Smardt Holding Inc., is looking for a Finance Intern to join the Corporate Treasury/Finance department.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with reporting and analysis of cash management (weekly and monthly).
- Help identify and follow up the Top 20 collections.
- Assist in revising the customer payment terms for the group and identifying delinquent customers.
- Support monthly reconciliation and payment of intercompany balances.
- Assist with debt analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the cash management process.
- Support corporate financing activities.
- Create reports on ad hoc basis and perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Finance/Accounting
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- A desire to learn and help in problem solving.
