I'm looking for a Financial Controller for my client in the Ouest of Montreal, in Dorval. This is a permanent hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). Your responsibilities: - Supervise the accounting team. - Support strategic plans and ensure objectives are met. - Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including cash verification, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory and fixed assets. - Liaise with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable shared services teams and relevant departments. - Manage month and year-end closing processes and validate accuracy of financial reports. - Analyze financial results and provide explanations for variances from budgets and forecasts. - Compile, analyze and communicate all reports to senior management. - Manage forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring that financial projections are consistent with strategic objectives. - Develop and manage internal financial controls in place and promote accountability and compliance within the business unit. - Manage all internal and external audits in accordance with accounting procedures and standards. - Manage statutory reporting and compliance. - Participate in special projects. - Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting with CPA designation. - 5 years accounting experience. - Supervisory experience. - Self-starter, deadline-driven, results-oriented and efficient. - Strong analytical and organizational skills. - Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced, complex environment. - Committed, collaborative and flexible. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel. - General knowledge of ERP systems (Navision - an asset). - Excellent communication skills in French and English.
