This role is part of the 360 Program, an initiative by The King’s Trust Canada. The 360 Program is a two-year initiative designed to help barriered youth aged 18-30 kickstart their careers with a yearlong full-time job, with additional career guidance and support in the second year.

**About the team**:
The Corporate Services Department is a team of 12 full time employees that support the entire organization through a diverse collection of services (Building/Site Operations, Safety, Security, Health, Environment (SHE), Graphic Design & Print, Language Services, Travel and Fleet). Our customers are our employees and we enable them to do their best work and deliver what patients need next.
**About the role**:
This role will primarily be responsible to support and collaborate with two team members of the team in the area of Facilities/Site Operations. This role will bring creative thinking, ideas for project planning and help execute projects scheduled for 2025. Key projects listed below.
**Your Department Projects (what will you learn?)**
- Contribute to the creation of the Site Sustainability Strategy with a focus on environmental sustainability
- Execute projects selected from the Sustainability Strategy (eg: lighting upgrade, landscaping changes)
- Represent Facilities and partner with customers to support onsite events and meetings
- Contribute to projects that enhance the work environment and workplace experience for the employees (eg: review workspace design, research new items and replacements, Transportation strategy and others)
- Contribute to projects requiring partnership with the property management company or several onsite service providers (preventative maintenance planning, compliance & inspections, contractor safety and others)
**Day/Week in the role**:
A typical week will include:
- 20% of time will be meeting with your team and internal customers
- 20% research and project planning
- 40% project execution
- 10% admin tasks associated to task management
- 10% personal development and learning

**Additional information (optional)**:
This Intern opportunity has a focus with the Site Operations (Facilities) area of Corporate Services; however, opportunities will exist that allow you to collaborate and learn from other areas of the department and the organization.
Pay: $46,000.00 per year
