**Overview**
**Your Responsibilities as a Demand Planner will include but are not limited to**:
- Handling customer inquiries
- Weekly customer communication regarding forecasting/promo planning/seasonality
- Following up/updating customers on forecast and supply/order issues
- Following up with factories to resolve or adjust orders based on issues/prioritization/ revision/delays
- Reviewing projections and providing details for entry into forecast system
- Placing production orders based on customer demand
- Working with Ocean Freight Manager to coordinate and arrange shipments to appropriate warehouse based on customer needs
- Coordinating/planning warehouse transfers
- Releasing orders
- Resolving order-related issues
- Order revisions as required
- Driving consensus through Monthly Business Planning processes
- Generating and maintaining the forecast
- Collecting information and assumptions about events and activities in relation to promotion/product launches/customer changes
- Reporting
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in supply chain planning, financial planning, or a similar planning position (1-3 years of experience required)
- Experience in demand planning for major retailers both in core programs and promotional events
- Experience with Retail Link and other supply chain portals is a major asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong previous experience in data analysis and manipulation using Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft GP, and/or Dynamics or related ERP systems
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively and align with peers, management, and outside parties
- Strong data entry skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills including the ability to achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
