The Master Scheduler is a critical member of operations team and is responsible for forecasting, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring through the complete production cycle. This position reports directly to Head - Supply Chain. Success in the role includes a positive, proactive approach to daily work along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Willingness to wear multiple hats and be a team player in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a full time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the demand planning and production scheduling process. Develop the weekly and long-term production plan while optimizing schedule through knowledge of capacity, resources, efficiency, and changeover times, etc.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Master Production Scheduling in manufacturing, supply chain management or a related field.
- Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a production/customer requirement are met.
- Follow “Clear To Build” (no part shortages) requirements for all daily production planning. Release production orders to the manufacturing floor, monitor work in progress (WIP) on the production floor and adjust schedule when required due to material shortages or other manufacturing interruptions.
- Convert planned supply orders to executable work order/purchase order jobs per the MRP/MPS planning. Utilize “what if” scenarios to optimize resource utilization and demand management.
- Identify discrepancies and mitigate associated risk for meeting committed customer delivery date for existing and upcoming projects.
- Continuously improve the manufacturing process through efficient scheduling and supporting Six Sigma methodologies by identifying opportunities and breakthrough thinking.
- Assist Supply Chain in establishing accurate inventory levels (min/max) and assist in problem-solving and executing appropriate countermeasures for deviations from planned inventory levels (min/max stocking violations/seasonality).
- Develops the inventory management strategy of the company with the goal to control costs within budget, generate savings, rationalize inventory.
- Implements improvement systems and processes to reduce inventory setbacks, while minimizing costs and maximizing working capital. Ensures that work orders are fully and properly completed and that all stocks have been correctly allocated to corresponding jobs.
- Support the Design and implementation of new inventory and workflow systems by collaborating and inputting on needs and opportunities.
- Participate in month end inventory counts including reconciliation and inventory reporting.
- Identifies inventory discrepancies, investigates root causes, and recommends improvements to cross-functional teams for the purpose of obtaining high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Develop an 18- month capacity utilization outlook to support sales forecast, business goals and as per S&OP calendar.
- Balance and optimize capacity utilization taking into consideration the demand plan and potential sales opportunities. Develop capacity utilization /supply scenarios when required.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Master Production Scheduling in manufacturing, supply chain management or a related field.
- 5-7 years of successful experience as a supply chain, production planning or relevant role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain
- Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Typical working conditions:

- Typically a Monday to Friday workweek. Schedule may change depending on business requirements.
- Manufacturing plant with continuous interaction on manufacturing floor where PPE is required.
