**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are looking for experienced_ Fire Sprinkler Technician(s) _to join our growing Service Team full-time in Victoria. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician you will inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various types of Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems and assist Fire Prevention Technicians with a variety of services.
- Key Responsibilities of the Fire Sprinkler Technician:_
- Complete testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of Fire Sprinkler Systems as per the 2018 BC Fire Code and NFPA requirements.
- Assist Fire Technicians with the testing, inspection, and maintenance of Fire and Life Safety Equipment.
- Accurate and timely completion of all Electronic Inspection Reports and other relevant documentation.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on new industry standards, product changes, and industry best practices.
- Work 40hrs per week (participate in overtime and on-call rotation as needed).
- Maintain open communication with both internal and external contacts on inspections, project delays, and overall status.
- Participate in mentoring and coaching Junior Technicians.
- Commitment to ongoing education and training and staying up to date with industry standards, product and service changes, and industry best practices in order to deliver ‘next-level’ service to our valued clients.
- Maintain certification in good standing with ASTTBC and or CFAA, if applicable.
- Adhere to and promote the company's core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
- Additional duties as they may arise.

- Sprinkler Fitting ticket is considered an asset.
- A desire to become certified with ASTTBC and or CFAA is considered an asset.
- Experience installing and servicing Sprinkler Systems and associated piping.
- Great Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Valid BC Drivers License.
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive.
- Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
