THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for experienced_ Fire Sprinkler Technician(s) _to join our growing Service Team full-time in Victoria.

As a Fire Sprinkler Technician you will inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various types of Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems and assist Fire Prevention Technicians with a variety of services.


  • Key Responsibilities of the

Fire Sprinkler Technician:
_

  • Complete testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of Fire Sprinkler Systems as per the 2018 BC Fire Code and NFPA requirements.
  • Assist Fire Technicians with the testing, inspection, and maintenance of Fire and Life Safety Equipment.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all Electronic Inspection Reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on new industry standards, product changes, and industry best practices.
  • Work 40hrs per week (participate in overtime and oncall rotation as needed).
  • Maintain open communication with both internal and external contacts on inspections, project delays, and overall status.
  • Participate in mentoring and coaching Junior Technicians.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training and staying up to date with industry standards, product and service changes, and industry best practices in order to deliver 'nextlevel' service to our valued clients.
  • Maintain certification in good standing with ASTTBC and or CFAA, if applicable.
  • Adhere to and promote the company's core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
  • Additional duties as they may arise.

  • Sprinkler Fitting ticket is considered an asset.
  • A desire to become certified with ASTTBC and or CFAA is considered an asset.
  • Experience installing and servicing Sprinkler Systems and associated piping.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid BC Drivers License.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be selfmotivated, resourceful, and proactive.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
