**The Role**

As a Junior Recruiter, you will play a vital role in supporting our full-cycle recruitment efforts. This entry level position is ideal for individuals with under 1 year of experience who are eager to learn and grow in a fast paced environment.
- Support full cycle, high volume recruitment including shortlisting, screening, interviewing and reference checks.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and other recruitment activities.
- Research and attend job fairs, and work with universities to recruit for co-op placements and full-time positions.
- Assist with recruitment and talent development initiatives and company events when required.
- Coordinate with the wider People Operations team to ensure onboarding activities are organized in a seamless manner.
- Assist with creation of reports and metrics.
- Assist with special HR projects and other duties as required.

**What You Bring**
- Post-secondary education Human Resources, Business, Communications, or similar field.
- Knowledge and/or experience with HRIS, ATS and various recruitment tools/platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of internal and external recruitment workflows in order to support the overall recruitment process.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, have a positive attitude, proactive approach and strong work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple activities to meet deadlines.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a desire to learn and grow in the field of recruitment.

**Hybrid Policy**

At Method we are working on a hybrid schedule. Employees work from the office 1-2 times each week from our office in downtown Toronto.

**In your first 30 days, you will**:

- Onboard and acclimate with the People Operations team.
- Understand Method’s values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
- Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
- Complete Method’s Bootcamp.
- 1 on 1s with Department Managers to understand their team needs.
- Review current hiring initiatives and processes.

**In your first 60 days, you will**:

- Start transitioning into managing job postings and screening resumes.
- Continue to build internal relationships with colleagues and hiring managers to understand their team needs.
- Get some early wins through small tasks and projects.
- Participate in company-wide events.

**In your first 90 days, you will**:

- Become an expert of the systems and platforms used at Method.
- Manage active job postings including screening, interviewing, reference checking and sending offers.
- Continue to get involved with company-wide activities and coordinating recruitment events
- Work closely with your manager to explore goals for the rest of the year.
- Participate in your first quarterly performance review.
