Edmonton, Canada Collective Waste Solutions Full time

Collective Waste Solutions is looking for an individual based in Edmonton who has what it takes to succeed in the waste industry. This role will be responsible for seeking new business and establishing leads for the company. This includes, but not limited to, maintaining, and growing the existing relations currently established within the organization. You will provide technical support and develop knowledge of the product lines, equipment, and competencies. In addition, continuously maintaining up-to-date information on existing and future work to assist operational needs.

**Role Description**:

- Work with team members to support bids and proposals creation.
- Represent organization in a professional manner at industry and internal functions.
- Identify significant customers to then develop and implement proper sales plan to obtain new business and report on progress.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and key business leaders to effectively determine all sales initiatives and priorities.
- Tap into vast knowledge of the customers and markets to provide comprehensive reports clearly presenting business opportunities, critical success factors and market expectations.
- Gather and communicate information on competitors and present specific competitor strategies.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings highlighting upcoming work and equipment requirements
- Complete special projects as required.
- Review daily Customer Master List to oversee quality control of information in the company database system.
- Monitoring the database of leads, accounts, and tasks in companies CRM software.
- Administering customer contracts, credit apps, and customer pricing so that it is easily accessible for accounting and operations.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing is required.
- Minimum 3 years' of proven sales track record in the waste industry.
- Minimum 5 years in industrial, commercial and construction business/project management considered an asset.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Self starter with the ability to attract new accounts.
- Ability to manage and maintain customer base while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Successful history in achieving sales objectives while maintaining the Company’s Core Values.
