Cleaner - Apartment Complex

Job Overview:
The company employs approximately 300 administrative, accounting and operational personnel who work at the Head Office, the regional offices and on-site at the rental, condominium and commercial properties which the Corporation manages. **Cleaner - Multi-Residential Apartment Complex -Ottawa, Ontario**

The company employs approximately 300 administrative, accounting, and operational personnel who work at the Head Office, the regional offices, and on-site at the rental, condominium, and commercial properties the Corporation manages. The company aims to provide residents with affordable, secure housing and a superior care standard.

**Critical Responsibilities of Building Cleaner**:

- General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms, swimming pools, recreation rooms), including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping
- Thorough cleaning of vacant suites, including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies
- Exterior cleaning duties, including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property
- Report any severe deficiency of curb appeal or safety or hazard to the Property Manager
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of related experience
- Customer service skills
- A pleasant demeanour
- Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc.)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform in a team environment

Pay: From $39,000.00 per year
