We are looking for an Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Grace Note Child Care Centre for the summer term

**Term: Mid-June-End of August 2023** (flexible start & end dates)

The Summer ECA will be responsible for covering educator vacations throughout the summer in all 5 of our classrooms:

- Infant (4-18 months): 8 children, 2 educators
- Junior Toddler (18-24 months): 16 children, 3 educators
- Senior Toddler (2-3 years): 12 children, 2 educators
- Junior Preschool (3-4 years): 16 children, 2 educators
- Senior Preschool (4-5 years): 16 children, 2 educators

Responsibilities include:

- Providing care and learning experiences to young children
- Supervising children indoors & outdoors
- Assisting children with diapering/toileting, dressing, feeding, etc.
- Distributing snacks & meals
- Basic cleaning & sanitizing (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Implementing positive behaviour guidance as needed
- Comforting children as needed
- Administering basic first aid as needed
- **Valid First Aid & CPR Level Certification**:

- **Clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check**:

- **Clear Child Abuse Registry Check**:

- **Plans to return to school in September 2023**
