What You’ll be Doing:
- Product Development_- Strategize and Oversee Updates - Plan, manage, and execute updates for existing Toyota & Lexus app and in-vehicle multimedia software.- New Product/Generation Launches - Plan and lead the launch of next-generation Toyota & Lexus app and in-vehicle multimedia systems.- Research & Strategic Development - Conduct in-depth research to inform and support strategic planning for CT products and services, including the Toyota/Lexus app, Remote Connect, Drive Connect, Service Connect, Safety Connect and Pricing/Trial Strategies.- Coordinate Testing & Validation for Market Readiness - Direct and oversee comprehensive product testing for app and software updates/launches, ensuring reliability and compliance.- Enterprise Readiness - Drive cross-departmental initiatives to prepare the organization for software and next generation releases, ensuring smooth integration and adoption.- Manage Key Agreements - Oversee negotiations to establish agreements with stakeholders, legal teams, and partners to align on CT product goals and compliance.
- Operations & Sustainment_- In-Market Issue Resolution - Support Customers, Dealers and Field Staff in monitoring, prioritizing and resolving all customer and Dealer inquiries and issues related to CT software and app impacting product quality and/or Customer Experience.- KPI Reporting - Prepare and deliver monthly communications and reports on CT performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Budget Management - Review program budgets monthly and provide quarterly updates to budget forecasts.- Business Planning - Forecast costs and revenues to support TCI business planning cycles and align with strategic objectives.- Develop CT Materials - Create supporting CT training and education materials in collaboration with Toyota University and Lexus Academy, to support field staff and Dealers.
- Partnership Management_- Collaborate with TMNA Teams - Maintain and strengthen relationships with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) Connected Technology teams to support and align operations for Canada- Ensure Legal & Regulatory Compliance - Partner with the Legal department and Regulatory Affairs to monitor and review compliance conditions, contracts, and agreements, ensuring adherence and corporate standards- Support Product Quality - Work with the Product Quality Service Support (PQSS) team to evaluate and address product testing outcomes, issues, and over-the-air update requirements- Align Strategies with Product Planning - Collaborate with the Product Planning (PPD) department to review product specifications, develop vehicle pricing strategies, and incorporate Dealer and customer feedback into planning cycles- Collaborate with Marketing - Partner with the Marketing department to develop campaigns and communications that drive product enrollment and conversion to subscription, including customer engagement website content- Coordinate Financial Oversight - Work with Finance & Accounting teams to review, forecast, and plan for revenues and costs amortized over extended timeframes- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with other departments (e.g., After-Sales, Dealer Operations) to deliver enhanced customer and business value
- Team Leadership_- Support CT Engineers with Testing and Issue Resolution - Support the CT team engineers in managing product testing, investigate technical issues, and implement effective resolutions- Support System Development for Canada - Provide guidance to the IS-CT business support team to aid with system development initiatives that enable the successful deployment of CT products in Canada- Coordinate team member located at TMNA Headquarters - Provide support to CT team member based at TMNA Headquarters in Plano, Texas, to ensure seamless collaboration, operational alignment and advocacy of Canadian market requirements
