**Role description**:
Arcadis has an immediate need to hire a Project Assistant/Coordinator to support our Arcadis Canada team in Montreal, Quebec. Proficiency in French and English is a requirement. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team in Quebec. Hybrid schedule, in office 1-2 days per week.

This role will sit within our Global Resilience Business Area. As part of our Environmental team, you’ll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental management, or your technical or sustainability expertise, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality or noise. And in some of the world’s busiest and most beautiful locations.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Maintain projects in Oracle, track and monitor project schedules and budgets as the primary support for our project managers relative to project and financial management.
- Setup new projects and update project forecasts in the project management tools (Oracle). Provide and analyze financial project metric reports for project managers. (Project Revenue, profitability, accounts receivable, etc.).
- Verify and assist in reviewing documentation associated with client billing related to public and private client contracts.
- Prepare progress reports and spreadsheets with a high level of quality control.
- Participate on monthly project reviews with Line Managers, Finance Managers and Project Managers.
- Aid quality control of project deliverables including reports and technical memoranda for formatting, grammar, and consistency.
- Assist in proofreading, formatting, and producing proposals and reports using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Report and record project expenses and aid Corporate Accounting with respect to billing, invoicing, etc.
- Manage administrative office procedures/functions & mail/courier deliveries; proactively explores opportunities to add value to the office and staff as needed.

Key Skills:

- Proficient in spoken and written French and English is a requirement
- Strong understanding of Excel and online database tools
- Ability to work under time constraints to accomplish goals and objectives, manage multiple projects for project managers simultaneously.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Required Qualifications:

- Proficient in spoken and written French and English
- 3+ years of project/financial experience in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience/Knowledge with Oracle (or other online database) preferred not required
