Pye Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Used Vehicle Recon Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring that all used vehicles meet our dealership's quality standards. Your exceptional technical skills and keen eye for detail will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for delivering top-notch pre-owned vehicles to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles to identify mechanical and cosmetic issues
- Perform necessary repairs, maintenance, and reconditioning of vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and engine repairs
- Accurately document all work performed and maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and parts used
- Collaborate with the sales and service departments to prioritize and complete necessary vehicle repairs in a timely manner
- Ensure all vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer standards for safety, quality, and appearance
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment effectively to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Keep abreast of industry trends, technical advancements, and best practices in vehicle repair and reconditioning

**Requirements**:

- Red Seal License or Equivalent Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with experience in used vehicle recon
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even the slightest imperfections
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and components
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
