SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum: $86,398.00
Maximum: $118,796.7.

JOB: As the Research & Innovation Development Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare organization's efforts to drive innovation, improve population and epidemiology outcomes, and enhance the development of data-driven solutions. Based in Vancouver, BC, you will work in a team dedicated to utilizing data analytics and research to make a meaningful impact on healthcare practices and community well-being.

ORGANIZATION: The BC-CfE is a world-renowned HIV/AIDS Centre with innovative, low barrier approach to healthcare delivery in clinical practice and an integrated group of research concentrations in Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Trials, Population Health and Epidemiology, Health Economics and Professional Education Programs. A multidisciplinary team of clinicians including Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers and Peers and researchers including Health Economists, Epidemiologists, Clinical Researchers, Statisticians, Programmers, and Data Analysts work collaboratively to improve the health of British Columbians with HIV and communities facing socio-economic barriers in accessing healthcare.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Innovation and Research with Machine Learning and AI:

- Spearhead innovation initiatives by identifying areas where data, machine learning, and AI can lead to novel healthcare solutions and drive development efforts.
- Implement machine learning and AI algorithms to analyze and predict healthcare trends, improving patient outcomes.

Development of Solutions:

- Support the development and deployment of software solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio and VB.NET programming.

Data Analytics:

- Design, oversee, and contribute to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of healthcare data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to drive evidence-based decision-making.

Project Management:

- Plan, execute, and oversee research, innovation, and development projects to ensure successful completion within established timelines and budgets.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Epidemiology, Data Science, Software Development) and a minimum 5 years recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proven experience in healthcare analytics, research, machine learning, AI, and software development, with a focus on population and epidemiology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio and VB.NET programming for data analysis and solution development.
