**Objective & Overview**
Complete Biodiversity Indicator and Reporting System (BIRS) Assessments for all aggregate sites in Eastern Ontario and Quebec.**Responsibilities**
- Site Visits:
- Coordinate site visits
- Travel to sites and complete BIRS Checklists for applicable areas of the site in coordination with site representative
- Review:
- Review BIRS Checklists prepare Assessment Reports
- Track progress on execution of BIRS Assessments
- Report:
- Finalize BIRS Assessments and post documents to Google Drive.
- Projects:
- Special projects will be defined to enable achievement of environmental goals. Projects include:

- Biodiversity Indicator and Reporting System (BIRS) Assessments
- Relationship with Others- Incumbent will communicate with the Environment & Public Affairs team; Cement, Aggregate Operations Teams and will work with the Manager, Environment & Public Affairs and Director, Environment & Public Affairs.
- Specific Accountabilities:
- Site visits to complete BIRS Checklists/Assessments.
- Dimensions:
- Reports to Senior Manager, Environment & Public Affairs.

**Qualification Profile**
- Post-secondary degree in Environmental Studies or the equivalent of education and experience.
- Technical knowledge required to complete BIRS Checklists/Assessments.
- Must be French/English bilingual.
- Adequate fitness to complete site visits (walking over uneven terrain).
- Must have a valid Drivers License and a vehicle.
