Five Star Metals is a metal roof and siding manufacturer in Upper Sackville, NS. We are committed to providing a quality product and great customer service to our clients.

- On-the-job training
- Casual work attire

Responsible for general cleaning and organization in the shop and around the yard. This position may also require some heavy lifting when forklifts are not feasible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to take directions from the supervisor.
- Must work safely.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to use different hand tools.
- Ability to use power tools.
- Ability to read and follow shop drawings/order sheets.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Good physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with stocking shelves and displays.
- Filling propane tanks with on site fill station.

**Skills & Training**:

- Experience operating forklifts is considered an asset but training will be provided.
- Experience working in a shop setting and/or with machinery is considered an asset.
- Training will be provided for the use of our metal manufacturing equipment.
- Experience working with sheet metal is considered an asset.
- Basic carpentry skills are considered an asset.
- Propane service attendant training will be provided.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
