**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with dementia care or other cognitive impairments through engaging activities and routines.
- Document client progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members as necessary.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with senior care practices, including dementia care and medication administration.
- Experience working with persons with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others lead fulfilling lives.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
