Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at a busy Diner. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and marinating
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

**Skills**:

- Proficient in cooking techniques and various cooking methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Knowledge of different ingredients and their uses in recipes
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed

Experience not neccessary but benefitcial

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
