Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Consultant

Sask DLC is a newly formed Treasury Board Crown Corporation in Saskatchewan, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLC’s head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and nine regional campuses located in Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Estevan, Yorkton, Saskatoon, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Neilburg and La Ronge. Sask DLC delivers online programming to full-time K-12 students and part-time students attending schools across the province.

As a CIA Consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive excellence in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices within our distance learning programs. Reporting to the Superintendent of Student Programming, this role requires a highly organized, innovative, and collaborative individual who can effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and foster a cohesive work environment.

As Student Services Consultant, you will work with the Senior Administration to carry out the vision and mission of Sask DLC. We are looking to recruit an individual who seeks to understand the challenges of online learning and strives to create real connections with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive work plan related to the goals of Sask DLC’s Education Plan;
Lead the procurement of educational resources process, ensuring adherence to timelines and collaboration with relevant departments;
Provide supervision and guidance to the Educational Technology Coach to ensure alignment with role expectations;
Collaborate with professional learning networks, educators and campus administrators to provide ongoing support, professional learning opportunities and feedback related to curriculum, implementing distance education best practices in instruction, and assessment;
Analyze assessment data to identify trends for continuous improvement in curriculum and instruction;
Plan and coordinate the implementation and collection of large-scale assessment data;
Take an active role on the Student Programming Team to ensure integration throughout Sask DLC.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred;
Teaching experience in distance education or related field;
Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices;
Excellent organizational and project management skills;
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting;
Experience in educational leadership or program development and coordination is an asset.
