Moulding Technician

**Job description**

We are hiring Molding Technicians for our Client, located in Mississauga.

**Job Requirements**:

- Mold Maker certificate.
- Certification in TIG welding or proficiency in micro welding would be an asset.
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Capable to lift 50lbs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete daily preventative maintenance sheets as required.
- Maintain Mold carrier assembly.
- Modify molds based on Engineering Change Notices.
- Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance.
- Repair Molds in shop and inline as required.
- Work with tool room equipment, saws, lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill presses and hand tools.
- Inspection of lifting devices prior to use.
- Perform tool readiness inspections for trials on new Molds.
- Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Process Engineer/Technical Manager.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Shift availability**:

- **Monday-Friday**

**Salary**: $39.02 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- TIG welding: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Mold Maker Certificate (required)

Work Location: One location
