Position Summary:
This position is responsible to research and resolve daily production variances to maintain accurate production reporting. Monitors production floor to ensure inventory transactions are performed accurately and timely. Provide feedback and coaching to production department on transactional processes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to research and resolve daily production variances to maintain accurate production reporting. Monitors production floor to ensure inventory transactions are performed accurately and timely.
Within JDE, troubleshoot WIP and supply detail information on variances to the Manufacturing Accountant and Inventory Control Supervisor. This involves understanding the manufacturing accounting along with being able to review batch sheets, inventory transactions and product set up.
Perform daily reconciliation of Lost Raw location and perform PRD counts. Asist with cycle counts and other inventory tasks as needed.
Generate the Active LP in Production Report and resolve any inventory that may not have a "put away" location.
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.
Responsible for the accurate reporting of production variances and resolving production work order issues.
Problem solving, and a take charge approach are necessary for timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain successful relationships with all departments.
Reconcile continuous worksheet. Review and verify automated system completions and issued material are against work orders are correct.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Reach or Cherry Picker Forklift license is required.
Associate’s degree in business preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Computer skills are required with JDE experience preferred.
Strong Analytical Skills must be able to drill down on a problem and determine root cause.
Detail oriented with good reasoning ability in making sound business decisions.
Must have full knowledge of the manufacturing side of JDE and product set up.
Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written is required. Must know when to escalate a problem to the proper level of supervision.
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be able to solve Intermediate mathematical equations.

Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed. May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity.
