ABB's Electrification Service Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity. Our extensive portfolio includes MV-Circuit breakers, switchgears, switching, limiting, measuring, and sensing devices, and other related services. In this Role you will report to the Operations Manager, and you will lead the execution of large and/or highly complex projects or takes accountability for a portfolio of projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Support the local management in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution. May carry accountability for a portfolio of projects.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Monitor and control the overall business Revenue and gross margin forecasting, along with the cash flow.
- Coaches and Provides performance feedback for the PMO staff.
- Make sure that our portfolio of projects is being managed consistently, based on best practices and ABB Policies.
- Leads project reviews for large projects and Organizational Project Management (OPM) reviews/assessments and conducts competency assessments for the project execution teams on behalf of the Local Division.
- Support and coach project team members to help them achieve project requirements, delivery of contracted deliverables and meeting the committed project result.
- Represent the Project Management team, during the internal and external audits.
- Support the PMO/Operations Manager in other managerial responsibilities.
- Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
- Defines all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
- Effectively monitors and controls project progress, resource utilization, Financials, risks.
- Captures, analyses and shares lessons learned throughout the project. Ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.
- Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with the company’s policies and contractual agreements.
- Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
- Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

**Your background**:

- At least 5-10 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the field of Low / Medium Voltage Power equipment design, build, deliver, install, and commission.
- Managing or coaching team members is considered an asset.
- High level Site activities coordination with a focus on Health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills with an excellent Command of English. French language is considered an asset.
- Principles and practices of cost accounting.
- Strong Understanding of the contractual requirements.
- Understanding and Mastering Financial budgetary principles.
- Understanding engineering specifications and plans.
- PMP certification & Engineering degree is considered an asset.
