**Operations Manager**

Simplicity Air Ltd has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of Customer Service, Production & Materials Management, which includes in-house production assemblers, shipping and receiving, and customer service. This role is to effectively and efficiently manage these teams' day-to-day development and direction. Drive revenue growth and technical productivity and promote high-quality customer satisfaction while building relationships and ensuring the integration of strategic plans within the company operations.

**Job Duties**
- Deliver the overall vision and direction for Customer Service, Production & Materials Management Departments.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Customer Service, Production & Materials Management.
- Drive business strategies for processes and procedures to improve performance.
- Oversee and direct Customer Service, Production & Materials Management workforce issues for the organization.
- Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure progress is made and corrective action is taken if necessary.
- Meet regularly with staff and facilitate the resolution of issues/problems.
- Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet the requirements of the department.
- Manage the morale in the department by setting and demonstrating a solid business ethic for dealing with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Enhance and develop processes, procedures, and service systems to meet the department’s goals.
- Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations, and performance management.
- Monitor financial performance to ensure the department meets or exceeds budgetary commitment.
- Analyze and report on the department's daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators and industry trends.
- Develop and implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the department.
- Handle customer and vendor inquiries and complaints, which are escalated from the departments.
- Analyze the Customer's concern and present options to solve their issue.
- Update work orders with appropriate information to provide information more quickly and efficiently to Customers.
- Manage stock availability and inventory turns.
- Manage inventory counts.
- Examines reports (e.g., inventory, sales, and daily reports) to determine the company’s operational activities and ensure optimum performance.
- Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in a technical field preferred.
- 5 or more years of previous management experience in a technical environment with proven leadership abilities.
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
- Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
- A clear and solid understanding of the organization's personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Proficient in creating and understanding workflow diagrams

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Management: 5 years (required)
